Rainer Schmitt, owner and CEO of Derix Glass Studios. Since 2016 Schmitt has been publicly appointed and inaugurated as the only expert for glass restoration of the glazier trade with the Federal Republic of Germany. He has more than 40 years of experience as a glazier, glass painted, master glazier, and state certified technician for glass constructions.
In September of 2018 Rainer took over Lamberts Glassworks (Glashutte Lamberts) as the new managing partner and owner.
