Are you hoping to enhance your stained-glass projects by exploring new materials, yet hesitant to delve into your most cherished sheets of glass? Or perhaps you've longed to incorporate the intricate beauty of rondels into your artwork but feel uncertain about where to begin?

In this 4-hour workshop we will fearlessly embrace the art of working with specialty sheet glass and the delicate craft of breaking non-flat glass. Through guided instruction, you will create small stained-glass half sunflowers from start to finish, using an array of stunning materials that inspire creativity.

This immersive session will be divided into four distinct parts: Cutting, Grinding, Foiling, and Soldering, each providing valuable insights and hands-on experience. By the workshop's conclusion, participants will depart with a meticulously crafted stained glass half sunflower projects and full confidence to explore and manipulate specialty glass with proficiency.


While prior experience with stained glass will be ideal, students of all levels are warmly welcomed to join in!
 

 

Meggy Wilm

Meggy is the owner of Colorado Glass Works, a Stained Glass Studio in Boulder, Colorado. Today she is one of the most followed stained glass artists in the world on social media and owns a multifaceted art glass business. She has taught at a variety of classes, sells and ships sheet glass all around the world, designs her own custom sheet glass, and creates small and large commissions for private clients. She has been creating stained art glass for the last seven years and has a deep love of all things nature and glass related.
