Exhibition Panel, 1931

Exhibition Panel, 1931

Howard Wilbert, an artist at Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio, executed this panel in an attempt to impress architect Ralph Adams Cram and win a commission for window in the East Liberty Presbyterian Church. The Studio allowed Wilbert to complete this panel with no constraints on time or cost, so he could do his best possible work. The effort was successful; PSGS was awarded the contract for the aisle windows of the church.
