Glass Eye 2000 Software Intensive with Christie Wood

Computer-assisted design software for stained glass (and more). This class explores the Glass Eye 2000 software from Dragonfly Software. If you have never attempted computer-assisted design, if you use another CAD program, or even if you own a version of GE2000 but have never master it; this class can help. Designs from easy purely geometric up to highly sophisticated landscapes and portraits are possible. Then scale them; resize them; “color” them in with scanned images of real glass; calculate material usage and profit margins; print/plot them; export them and email proofs to clients. All of this and more using the GE2000 software.

Please bring a Windows laptop, mouse/electronic pen and GE2000 loaded. A free version of GE2000 is available for download at www.dfly.com, but DO NOT download this version prior to June 1.
