As a stained glass artist you are part of an ancient tradition.

How do you…

  • know that you are meeting current industry standards?
  • learn new techniques and sharpen your skills?
  • preserve and promote the craft?
  • certify your crafts people?
  • find answers to your technical questions?

The Answer to Your Questions

The Stained Glass Association of America for over 100 years has preserved and promoted the art of glass, often going up against unfair legislation that could seriously damage our art.

If you add up all the years of knowledge of our members, it is easy to understand why we are the authority concerning architectural art glass. The SGAA has transformed this collective wisdom into industry standards upon which architects, church committees and others have come to rely.

Through the Stained Glass School, the SGAA offers training from professionals for professionals. This training can provide you with new skills and can certify your employees.

Join our blog and chat with your peers about the state of the art, new products and techniques. If you have technical questions, email them to the headquarters. We have access to experts in all of the glass art fields willing to help you.

We Need Your Support!

We greatly appreciate your support through your membership dues. However, there is so much more work to be done. It is especially hard in these economic times to keep up with the costs of so many important programs. Your pledge can make the difference. Please click on the PayPal links below and pledge whatever you can.

    Hi Richard,

Is SGAA looking for speakers for 2011? If so, how doI submit?

Nancy, you should send your topic proposal to Conference Host Jerome Durr (jrdurr0art@aol.com) and copy to Conference Committee Chairman John Watts (john@glassheritage.com).
