Anonymous Matching Gift Offer to the SGAA
Supporting the Future of the Stained Glass Arts
A friend of the Stained Glass Association of America has offered to donate $12,000 on a matching gift basis to help support the ongoing efforts of the Association. The matching gift is being offered as a result of the steps the association has taken in promoting, protecting and creating education for a solid future for the stained glass arts.
They will match each dollar given up to a maximum of $12,000. In other words, we need to receive $12,000 from other donors to receive the matching gift of $12,000.
Some of the items these funds will be used for are::
- Purchase of new computer and Software upgrades to produce The Stained Glass Quarterly.
- Printing and distribution of the new Standards and Guidelines for the Preservation of Stained (and Leaded) Glass Windows
- Printing and distribution of the SGAA Sourcebook
- Instructor and lecture expenses
- Classroom/Office repairs and maintenance
Will you consider making a donation to the SGAA for this special opportunity to raise $24,000? Your donation, whether it be $5, $50, or $500, is very important to the future educational programs to be offered by the Stained Glass Association of America.
The SGAA Matching Gift Campaign starts now and ends July 1, 2012.
